Ink on paper, minimal yet expansive.
My work explores the fragile lines between choice and consequence, silence and expression.
Each stroke is a path, each pause a story.
Welcome to a world where abstraction becomes a mirror of life.

Step 1 – The Beginning
Ninety ink sketches on A4 paper marked the start of the Azryn Series. These early works were raw, exploratory — a first attempt to capture life’s paths through minimal strokes of black and red.

Step 2 – The Development
The series now unfolds on a larger scale: ninety A3 ink drawings. Each line is a journey downward, branching into choices, conflicts, and resolutions. Red appears as disruption or grace, shaping the course of the work. These drawings serve both as complete pieces and as studies for the next stage.

Step 3 – The Culmination
The series will conclude with up to ninety oil paintings, carried out in the same restrained palette of black, red, and white. These will transform the immediacy of ink into a more permanent medium, closing the cycle of the Azryn Series.

Each drawing in the series is both an exploration and a rehearsal. A single line descends across the page, marking beginnings, diversions, hesitations, and conclusions. Black ink holds structure and persistence; red marks disruption — pain, doubt, or transformation.

These drawings are not endpoints, but preludes: studies for oil paintings that will echo their forms on a larger scale, with the same restrained palette of black, red, and white. The project will end once both cycles are complete — ninety drawings, ninety paintings — forming a closed body of work.
